Paoli`s Pizzeria & Piano Bar in Los Angeles

Deep dish is absolutely amazing and they do it so well. Keep in mind that it does take about 30 minutes to cook, so be ready to order as soon as you get there. I would highly encourage you to order your pizza first, then start with appetizers and enjoy each others company because its gonna be a minute. But when that pizza comes out, your life will change forever. Great job!

We were heading to LAX and decided we wanted to eat so pulled off the highway at a random exit to get our bearings and see what was around.We found Paoli's via Google Maps and can't believe our actual fortune, the food was magnificent!This was my first time trying pizza with white (Alfredo) sauce and it was delicious!Pete the owner was a character, he comes from Greece but runs a fantastic Italian, the staff, the food and the stories are exactly why you should come here.If we were ever back in LA we'd be back here, until then it's just great memories of exquisite food.

The Best Pizza and Best Service. Loved that the owner was there and was telling us that he's been doing this for 40 yrs. We had the large climax with white sauce and extra sausage. Cesar salad was also really good

LOVE THIS PLACE. Amazing food and honestly the nicest staff ever. I left my backpack, and the server literally ran 3.5 blocks to return it to me!!! Ahhh!!! Love you little star!!!

Best Chicago Style Pizza ever! Fresh basil with mozzarella. We added half and half pepperoni and ham. Loved it! Amy was.the best. Live piano music a pleasant background. I really.enjoyed the evening.

I keep searching for a better pizza place and trust me I've searched all over and not just in Los Angeles, CA. Paoli's Pizzeria & Piano Bar is the best by far!! I love the deep dish the crust is perfect and if you're in town stop by and try any of there deep dish pizzas you won't be disappointed. I have ways had great service there and highly recommend you try Paoli's Pizzeria & Piano Bar! I just hope they decide to branch out and get a few more locations!!

This is the BEST pizza in the Bay Area. I love their staff at every location. Drinks, food and everything is always on point. You all do it right! Highly recommend the Divis location!

Just some other info: Deep dish pizzas typically take about 30 minutes to cook so don't come starving! Thin crust is also available, but come on, you can get that anywhere else. There's a good amount of 2 or 4 person tables available, I didn't see too many tables bigger than that but I'm sure stuff can be moved around. Finally, I'm definitely not a deep dish connoisseur, but I enjoyed this pizza more than the one deep dish I had in Chicago!

Man oh man if you ever try this place you have to get their CLIMAX PIZZA. It was Delicious. Their Lamb chops are good too.

As if this place needs another review... Outstanding pizza! Better than anything I have had in Chicago. Great service as well. Had a salami and tomato topped Deep dish... I'd be a fool not to come back!

Pizza here was legit deep dish - I would know because I'm from Chicago! Restaurant itself is pretty cozy, bit cramped for seating. In addition to their delicious pizza pie and good service, I laughed at their dramatic sign: "Due to a shortage, water will only be served upon request" ;)

Little Star's deep dish pizza with its cornbread crust for extra special amazingness is the only deep dish pizza I like. Period. I actually dislike deep dish; I am a thin crust gal through and through. But wow is this place fantastic. The vegetarian Little Star pizza, in particular, is the titular pizza for a reason--get it!

we decided to go with a thick crust pizza. the crust was perfectly executed. it was thick enough to satisfy dough lovers but thin enough to have the perfect crunch and allow room in the stomach for more than one slice. we're going to go back.

Best pizza I've had in Los Angeles, CA, hands down. Both deep dish and thin crust options. High quality ingredients, perfect combinations of flavors for each pizza, and if you don't like any, you can modify each one to your liking, so there's no way to go wrong here. Final thought, having lived in Chicago, I know the secret to a good deep dish pizza is in the crust, and they have that down! Of course nothing compares to the real deal but this is the best option I've found in Los Angeles, CA.

Love love love this pizza!! The crust has a great flavor and the way they pile the thick sauce on top of the toppings melts my heart. They took a NY thing mixed it with the Chicago crust to make something out of this world! I also got their cheesy bread and put zucchini on it ... Im very picky about my pie, this place nailed it. I highly recommend it, and try to eat it there every time I pass threw SF.

This was my first time trying this place out and i have to say one of the best pizza i have had yet. The service overall was perfect and the workers there where very polite. Would recommend this place i give them a 10/10 in service&food!

I love Little Star. Get the BBQ chicken. It's incredible. We just moved away and I will miss these pizzas. :)They are not greasy and they are also not super healthy. They are right in the middle where I like it.

Still like Zachary's better. But they are all the way across the bay. Cornmeal crust is a nice touch on the deep dish along with the nice guey cheese. Good selection of beers. Long wait for the deep dish so you will be upsold a salad which are great. Eat in or Take out. Good Pizza

Amazing. Every. Time. The Brass Monkey pizza is consistently one of the best i've ever had. The crust, the chunky tomato sauce, the tasty sausage. And the salad, while pretty simple, rocks my world every time I eat it too. Its usually just the wife and I eating, but I love it when we have others with us so that I can order the amazing chicken wings as well.

The Paoli's Pizzeria & Piano Bar Deep Dish is delicious. Packed with onions, spinach, garlic, ricotta, feta, and mushrooms. Makes for amazing leftovers too. They have a good music selection.

My boyfriend and I were hungry after checking out the Painted Ladies, and followed the Yelp reviews to Little Star Pizza! We were the first to arrive, as they just opened for lunch. We ordered the Caprese Salad that came with plenty balsamic vinegar and olive oil, rustic bread, green and calamata olives, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. We ordered the 9" deep dish classic + pepperoni thinking we wanted a "light" lunch...well, we were wrong! This filled us up, but our stomachs were happy. The crust was delicious, and I don't like crust. It wasn't soggy or greasy like most deep dish pizzas I've had. The red sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the proportion of the toppings was well balanced. A+ for service too!

Don't be worried about the chunks of garlic you see on your breadsticks; you're going to love them. The pizza is great and worth the wait.

So glad I was able to eat here for dinner. Hands down the best deep dish in SF. If this was in Chicago it'd be right up there with the big boys. It's full of flavor and the ingredients taste fresh. The garlic bread is delicious as well.

Yum, yum, I love Little Star's thin pizza...I've even eaten leftovers for breakfast! My favorite spot to order delivery from whenever I'm in town. Not cheap...just reliably delicious.
